PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) 및 PPM(Pulse Position Modulation)은 모터 및 서보와 같은 전기 장치 제어를 위해 신호를 인코딩하는 서로 다른 두 가지 방법입니다.

PPM(Pulse Position Modulation)

PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) and PPM (Pulse Position Modulation) are two different methods of encoding signals for the control of electrical devices such as motors and servos.

PWM is a method of encoding a signal where the duty cycle of a square wave is modulated to encode a specific analog value. In other words, the amount of time the signal is on (the "width" of the pulse) is varied to represent different values.

PPM (Pulse Position Modulation) is a method of encoding a signal where the relative timing of a series of pulses is used to represent different values. In other words, the position of the pulses in time is used to represent different values.

In summary, PWM encodes a signal by varying the width of the pulses, while PPM encodes a signal by varying the position of the pulses.
